Software Engineer Intern (Stanford Startup)

At Golpo, we are redefining storytelling with cutting-edge AI to create personalized, podcast-style narratives. This role is central to bettering our product and ensuring we deliver a delightful user experience.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize AI-driven web and mobile applications to support personalized storytelling and audio processing features
• Collaborate on the design and implementation of intuitive user experiences (UX) for seamless interaction with AI-powered tools and models
• Design, develop, and deploy full-stack applications using React (frontend) and relevant backend frameworks or APIs

Qualifications

• Proficiency in React for building user-friendly web interfaces and familiarity with React Native for mobile applications
• Strong skills in full-stack development, including backend frameworks and API integration
• Proficient in programming languages such as Python, JavaScript, and Bash
• Experience or interest in working with Large Language Models (LLMs) and other AI tools
• Strong sense of ownership, high agency, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
• Self-motivated, with excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Open to undergraduate and high school students looking for a part-time position during the school year, with potential for full-time work during breaks
