We are looking for talented designers, strategists, and creative technologists to join our team and contribute to all stages of product design, from identifying unmet needs to applying technology creatively to solve user problems and create radically new experiences.

Position Summary

As a Creative Technologist, you will research, design, innovate, and prototype new user experiences across Samsung’s product portfolio. You will help design and build novel experiences that surprise and delight, while pushing the limits of design and technology. This role involves developing interactive prototypes to conceptualize innovative approaches and requires wearing multiple hats, such as product or project manager and software architect.

Position Responsibilities

• Define new product platforms, architectures, and strategies, working closely with teams across the organization.
• Drive platform research, experimentation, concept exploration, and prototyping for crafting user experiences delivered through modern web technologies.
• Prepare technical requirements and software design specifications.
• Strengthen partnerships with internal stakeholders and identify strategic growth areas.
• Prototype new concepts in both physical and digital design.
• Provide input into User Experience design and workflow.
• Communicate effectively with design and business functions, present ideas, and participate in creative workshops.
• Inspire colleagues with innovative thinking and a differentiated point of view on product categories.
• Contribute to team development by balancing team and individual considerations.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Product Design, Design Engineering, SW/HW, Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience designing and building embedded devices, mobile, web, or cloud-based applications.
• Expertise in application and software service programming languages (e.g., Android, Java, JavaScript, Python, Node, HTML, FreeRTOS).
• Strong understanding of design thinking, design principles, and experience design best practices.
• Experience designing, prototyping, and building immersive experiences.
• Creative and consumer-minded approach to design and manufacturing.
• Proficiency in current design software and techniques for 2D/3D integration into digital product solutions.
• Broad engineering competence and in-depth technical knowledge of comprehensive software systems.
• Ability to develop new techniques and processes to audit technologies.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $151,200—$207,750 USD
• Annual bonus eligibility and generous benefits package.
