Position Summary

The Principal Interaction Designer (AI) creates beautiful, functional, and desirable interfaces and services across various technologies, with a focus on AI-rich user experiences. This is an individual contributor role requiring project leadership and a high standard for quality. You will craft user-centric solutions informed by research insights, defining UX principles for products, services, and technologies.

Position Responsibilities

• Lead projects and engage with stakeholders to gather input and evaluate options.
• Conceptualize, visualize, and develop product ideas from inception to launch.
• Integrate AI technologies to enhance user experiences.
• Transform complex challenges into simple, understandable solutions.
• Execute wireframing, conceptualizing, rapid prototyping, user testing, interaction design, and visual design.
• Collaborate with Designers and Engineers to create cohesive products and features.
• Develop prototypes of varying fidelity for iterative design.
• Conduct user testing independently or collaboratively.
• Push ideas beyond expectations to drive innovation.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Design, HCI, Product Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 16+ years of UX Design with Project Management/Leadership and Interaction Design experience.
• Deep understanding of user behaviors and interactions to create compelling product solutions.
• Experience working across hardware/software, mobile, and voice interfaces.
• Expertise in leveraging AI to enhance user experiences.
• Strong HCI skills and a passion for user research.
• Proficiency in design thinking, principles, and experience design methodologies.
• Skilled in hypothesis development, prototyping, testing, and visualizing bold ideas and scenarios.
• Ability to identify opportunities for UX innovation and communicate concepts effectively.
• Expertise in creating documentation such as scenarios, wireframes, visual designs, and prototypes.
• Clear, concise communication style with a proactive approach to initiating projects and concepts.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Pay Range: $224,000—$348,250 USD
• Annual bonus eligibility and comprehensive benefits package.
