Responsibilities
This role will be involved in modeling and analyzing trade off of different image sensor architectures, designing novel image sensor architectures to satisfy power consumption, dynamic range, noise, sensitivity, formfactor requirements for low power ML applications. Work cross-functionally to develop imaging systems and processing HW architectures. Lead chip level architecture specifications and implementation by partnering with internal XF teams and external vendors.
Minimum Qualifications
- 3+ years prior experience in image sensor product planning and/or design leadership desired
- Experience with low power image sensor architecture design and implementation
- Experience with modeling and simulating for image sensors and imaging systems, experience with detailed power budget simulation for image sensor and imaging system
- 5+ years prior experience in design and implementation of at least one of the key blocks for CMOS image sensors: pixel architecture, ADC, or digital blocks.
Preferred Qualifications
- MS or PhD degree in Optical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Having relevant experience in design image sensors for computer vision applications is a plus
- Effective oral and written communication skills
- Experience in specification negotiation with customers/partners desired
- Experience in building partnerships and working with internal and external cross-functional teams

Compensation Description (Annually)
The base salary range for this position in the selected city is $162000 - $408000 annually. Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and experience, and location. Base pay is one part of the Total Package that is provided to compensate and recognize employees for their work, and this role may be eligible for additional discretionary bonuses/incentives, and restricted stock units. Benefits may vary depending on the nature of employment and the country work location. Employees have day one access to medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401(k) savings plan with company match, paid parental leave, short-term and long-term disability coverage, life insurance, wellbeing benefits, among others.
