Generative AI Engineer

Oxford Dynamics is a UK-based deep tech start-up seeking an SC Cleared Generative AI Engineer to join their rapidly growing team. This role involves applying skills to exciting, commercially focused AI developments, including scaling natural language model systems, data enhancement, and collaboration with the AI team. Candidates should have experience with LLMs and knowledge of current research in the field.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop novel AI algorithms for Oxford Dynamics’ core AI products.
• Collaborate with the team to deploy AI products in offline environments.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience

• MOD SC Clearance.
• Strong experience deploying LLMs for searching pipelines.
• Up-to-date knowledge of LLM and NLP research.
• Experience designing, developing, and deploying production machine learning pipelines.
• Solid background in NLP techniques.
• Degree (BS, MS, or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a related quantitative field.
• Proficiency in Python for machine learning development.
• Full-stack development experience.
• GIT workflow & control expertise.
• Docker for system deployment.
• AWS/Cloud experience.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience

• Portfolio of work (e.g., industry projects, academic thesis, published papers).
• Experience with Git workflows in production teams.
• Agile product development expertise.
• Start-up experience.
• Best practices in data engineering.
• Familiarity with MLOps.
• Experience building Restful services.
• Presentation skills for project stakeholders.
• Interest in business development.
