About the Role

At Kulfi Collective, we are on a mission to make the world (wide web) a brighter place, one incredible story at a time. As a Creative Technologist, you'll be at the heart of blending technology and creativity, working alongside a diverse team of technologists, designers, strategists, and client services to build new capabilities and deliver innovative work for clients. This hands-on role will set the foundations for our Innovation Lab, establishing the entire creative tech innovation process: from conceptualising and ideating to prototyping, demonstrating and launching new offerings. You'll collaborate closely with various disciplines to transform ideas into tangible, exciting and scalable creative solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Experiment with a variety of content formats, digital experiences, art styles and creative technologies, including but not limited to AI, Virtual Production, AR, VR, 3D, and other immersive digital experiences
• Utilise game engines, sensors, and design software to craft cutting-edge experiences
• Drive R&D projects from concept through to execution, at speed, while ensuring high standards are exceeded
• Learn new technologies and creative AI applications while experimenting with them for the first time
• Collaborate with creatives & marketing teams to create compelling marketing material & case studies
• Contribute to pitch ideation by bridging the gap between creative concepts and technical implementation
• Support delivery teams execute on concepts that were incubated by the innovation lab
• Simplify technical concepts for a broad audience and maintain clear communication throughout R&D lifecycles
• Commit to ongoing learning and exploration of new tools and platforms

Requirements

• 3-5 years of diverse creative experience in a relevant field
• Proficiency in digital art creation, including modelling, texturing, and animation
• Experience with game engines (e.g., Unity, Unreal), knowledge of AR/VR and virtual cinematography technologies
• Familiarity with electronic and sensors based prototyping toolkits (Arduino, Raspberry Pi) and design software (e.g., Cinema 4D, Blender)
• Understanding of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with a keen eye for design and current trends
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• A collaborative spirit and the ability to work well within diverse teams
• Passion for creativity and new media arts (AI-based creativity, computational/generative design, physical installations)
