The Role

As our Chief Research Officer, you'll lead our research strategy, driving innovation in 3D Gaussian Splatting, NeRF technologies, and beyond. You'll shape our product's technological vision, guide R&D teams, and translate cutting-edge research into real-world solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and execute the company's research roadmap in 3D reconstruction technologies
• Lead, mentor, and grow high-performing research and development teams
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate research breakthroughs into the platform
• Represent the company in academic and industry circles, fostering partnerships and thought leadership
• Stay ahead of emerging trends in computer vision, graphics, and machine learning to maintain a competitive edge

Requirements

• PhD or equivalent experience in Computer Vision, Computer Graphics, or related fields
• Proven contributions to 3D reconstruction, with published work in top-tier journals or conferences (CVPR, SIGGRAPH, NeurIPS, etc.)
• Deep expertise in 3D Gaussian Splatting, Neural Radiance Fields (NeRFs), and related technologies
• Experience leading R&D teams and translating research into scalable products
• Strong network within the academic and industry research community

Base Salary Range: $250,000 - $300,000 per year + equity
