XR Game Programmer

Role Summary

As an XR Game Programmer, you will play a vital role in a dedicated game team, collaborating with experts across disciplines to create immersive and innovative social games. The position involves working in focused sprints, enabling rapid iteration and creative problem-solving in a small team environment. This is an exciting opportunity to bring ideas to life and develop games that captivate players worldwide.

Responsibilities

• Implement gameplay and support systems features for VR & AR games.
• Collaborate with other disciplines to integrate graphics, animations, and audio.
• Anticipate and address technical problems related to your tasks.
• Create technical designs and implement solutions under senior staff guidance.
• Develop performant code for low-spec devices like Oculus Quest.
• Write well-structured, high-performance code of high quality.

Requirements

• At least 6+ years of experience as a game programmer.
• Proficiency in programming and strong knowledge of C# and Unity.
• Experience working on game projects in a cross-discipline team.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with version control systems such as Perforce and Git.
• Experience with network and server programming.
• Background in VR development or a passion for visual computing.
• Experience working on mobile or limited-resource platforms.
• Track record of delivering software to storefronts like the Oculus Store or similar.
