XR Development Engineer

Anduril Industries is a defense technology company revolutionizing military capabilities for the U.S. and allied nations. They are developing cutting-edge autonomous systems, AI, computer vision, sensor fusion, and networking technology to enhance situational awareness and improve field effectiveness. Anduril's XR software enhances these capabilities through the Lattice platform.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to set clear priorities and scope of work
• Collaborate with broader engineering groups to identify and resolve technical risks
• Ensure system stability by diagnosing and solving defects
• Integrate and process sensor and camera data streams
• Extend Lattice's capabilities in XR field systems
• Analyze and optimize memory and performance in mobile XR systems
• Identify and solve problems, delivering high-quality solutions

Requirements

• Excellent C++ skills and software engineering principles
• Minimum 5 years of professional programming experience
• Strong understanding of 3D math
• Ability to write clean, maintainable, and reusable code
• U.S. Person status required (permanent resident or citizen)

Preferred Qualifications

• Android or XR development experience
• Experience with scripting engines and low-level OS systems
• Experience shipping AAA games or XR products
• Ability to obtain a U.S. Top Secret security clearance

Compensation and Benefits

• Salary range: $138,000 to $252,000 depending on experience and skills
