Role Summary:
As a UI/UX Designer for lucidmotors.com, you’ll contribute to shaping our digital platforms, enhancing user experience, and ensuring a scalable web presence for prospects, customers, owners, and investors. This role is 100% onsite in Newark, CA.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with product owners, developers, and marketers to design user-centric web experiences.
- Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to communicate design concepts.
- Design intuitive user interfaces that align with brand guidelines.
- Maintain and optimize existing web assets, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support senior designers with design tasks and projects.
- Use data and best practices to guide design decisions.
- Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in design.
Requirements:
- 5+ years in UX/UI Design (Agency, Tech Company, or Startup).
- Portfolio showcasing UX/UI design proficiency.
- Skills in user-centered design with strong aesthetics.
- Experience with Visual Design Systems.
- Strong attention to detail and iterative design process.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Interaction Design, HCI, or related field.
Preferred Skills:
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS.
- Familiarity with Atomic Design Principles.
- Interest in AI technologies in UX/UI.
- Experience with A/B testing and data-driven design.
Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this role is $107,300 - $160,900 annually, with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability insurance, vacation, 401k, and eligibility for Lucid’s equity and discretionary incentive programs.
