As a healthcare user experience design professional, you will work on cutting-edge projects that involve designing and developing new tools, platforms, and services that empower patients, providers, and caregivers alike. You will be part of a dynamic and diverse global experience design team that is committed to creating a culture of innovation and improving healthcare through the power of design.
Your tasks and responsibilities:
- In this role, you will contribute to a wide range of projects, including web, mobile applications, VR technologies and digital platforms. Your focus will be on developing tools that enhance the productivity and efficiency of clinical applications, supporting the key workflows of multidisciplinary care teams
- Select and execute appropriate user centered design activities at each stage of the product life cycle, to guide the multi-disciplinary team to make informed decisions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional UX teams and business partners to align with their strategies, approaches, and processes
- Work closely with UX strategists and researchers to plan and execute research activities, identify unmet needs, and ensure that design solutions comply with all safety standards.
Your qualifications and experience
- Bachelor's or master's degree in user experience design, human-computer interaction, or related field
- A strong portfolio showcasing your user-centered design thinking, Craft skills and problem-solving
- 7+ years of design experience as User Experience Professional - Interaction designer, Information architect or similar crafts.
- Experience in designing spatial experiences rooted in strong design principles with AR/VR technologies
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Photoshop, Illustrator, and we are open to experimenting with other tools that can help the team.
Your attributes and skills
- Core UX design craft skills - Proficient in interaction design and usability, grounded in user behavior and user-centered design principles
- Expertise in designing spatial experiences based on strong design principles. Knowledgeable in user interactions within 3D environments and creating intuitive navigation and controls for AR/VR technologies. Familiarity with development tools like Unity or Unreal Engine is advantageous
- Background in working on complex enterprise products and ecosystems, particularly in regulated industries, is an asset
- Experience and eagerness to collaborate with business teams with low UX maturity, guiding them through a user centered transformational journey to improve their understanding and application of UX principles
- Strong ability to partner with design teams to comprehend and implement long-term UX strategies and processes, ensuring UX is integrated into key development stages
- Skilled in building, contributing to, or working with design systems, with the capability to extend existing guidelines to scale products effectively
