Adobe is seeking a Sr. Experience Researcher to join their Design Research & Strategy team, supporting Adobe's 3D & Immersive team and Adobe Substance 3D application suite. Adobe's mission is to drive digital experiences and empower people to create impactful images, videos, and apps.

The Role:

The Sr. Experience Researcher will collaborate with product managers, designers, and engineers, managing research studies from conception to completion. Responsibilities include defining research questions, setting research roadmaps, recruiting participants, synthesizing findings, and communicating insights to influence product design. This role will work with cross-functional teams on various platforms, including desktop applications, immersive headsets, and mobile.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Define research questions and methods, conduct studies, and synthesize findings.
  • Advocate for customer insights through clear presentations across Adobe.
  • Collaborate on design iterations across multiple formats.
  • Build partnerships across departments to deepen research's impact.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years in UX/product research or related fields.
  • Mixed-method research expertise (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Experience in 3D tools, CAD design, VFX, or game pipelines.
  • Understanding of Adobe Substance 3D or other 3D applications.
  • Ability to work in ambiguous or ill-defined domains.
  • Strong organizational and collaboration skills.
  • Bachelor's degree from a 4-year accredited institution.
  • Ability to work Eastern Time zone hours in the U.S.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Unreal Engine or Unity.
  • Background in Generative AI and Immersive technologies (VR/AR/XR).
  • Advanced degree in Human Computer Interaction or related fields.

Compensation:

The U.S. pay range for this position is $115,800 to $214,100 annually, depending on location, skills, and experience.
