Role Overview

The Autonomy Visualization team develops critical visualization tools for:

• Autonomy development
• Debugging and validation for engineers and ML researchers
• ML training data labeling
• In-car visualization for OEMs
• Demos for prospective partners and investors

Key Responsibilities

• Develop Visualization Platforms: Build frameworks in C++/OpenGL and Unity to support Nuro’s software and autonomy teams.
• Collaborate with Autonomy Engineers: Enhance workflows through better visualization tools.
• Coordinate with ML Labeling: Support training data efforts with tailored labeling tools.
• External Applications: Interface with product managers and designers to create polished visualizations.

About You

• 3+ years of C++ development experience
• Strong technical abilities, especially in handling low-level performance issues.
• Effective communicator, able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Supportive mentor, actively improving team products and processes.

Bonus Points

• Experience with visualization apps or game engines (e.g., OpenGL, Qt, Unity).

Compensation

• Base Pay: $167,000 - $250,000 annually, depending on experience.
