Senior XR Developer

The Mare Group, composed of innovative companies and startups specialized in strategic consultancy, innovative services and Industry 4.0, industrial engineering, is seeking a Senior XR Developer for their XR Area.

Position Description

Developing and implementing features in 3D projects using Unreal Engine and C++. Skills in computer graphics, 3D mathematics and performance optimization, with a focus on VR, multiplayer and advanced rendering.

Contract type

We consider both full-time permanent employment and collaboration under VAT regime. The choice of contract type will be determined based on the characteristics and needs of the candidate.

Expected salary framework (RAL)

RAL commensurate with experience.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of development with Unreal Engine using C++
• Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent qualification or comparable professional experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Unreal Engine version 5.x
• Experience with other 3D game engines
• Familiarity with VR, multiplayer, asset streaming, shader programming, procedural geometry generation, profiling and performance optimization
• Experience with one or more rendering APIs (OpenGL, DirectX, Vulkan, Metal)
• Published video games (including non-video game applications based on game engines)
• At least one demo project whose sources can be discussed during the interview (even if not public)
