Senior Unity Developer

Aequilibrium is looking for an experienced Senior Unity Developer to join our professional services team, creating high-quality, engaging XR experiences for enterprise clients. Our culture values continuous learning, collaboration, and providing outstanding customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate within small teams, taking ownership and working with minimal supervision.
• Deliver high-quality projects within set timeframes, working across XR features, UI, animation, audio, physics, and rendering.
• Work alongside developers, designers, and artists to enhance all aspects of the experience.
• Develop ideas and solutions to improve project functionality.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years of industry experience with Unity or other game frameworks.
• Strong C# skills and commitment to quality programming.
• Knowledge of SOLID principles and Agile development practices.
• XR development experience with VR, AR, or MR projects.
• Proficient in source control systems (PlasticSCM, Unity Collab, Git).
• Strong understanding of real-time rendering and troubleshooting complex development issues.
• Experience integrating external plugins, APIs, and libraries.

Nice-to-Haves:

• Meta Quest/Rift experience.
• Experience with educational/training software or serious games.
• Unity Asset creation, 2D/3D animation, sound design, and shader experience.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and RESTful API integration.

Compensation:

• CAD $90,000 - $120,000 annually, based on skills and experience.
