We’re looking for an experienced Senior Technical Program Manager to lead and deliver complex, large-scale XR programs from concept to deployment, balancing technical and strategic goals.

Responsibilities:

  • Program Leadership: Lead large-scale XR projects, ensuring timely delivery, adherence to scope, and quality standards.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Define requirements, set priorities, and coordinate execution with engineering, product, and QA teams.
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as the key contact for leadership, product managers, and clients, maintaining effective communication.
  • Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks early in the lifecycle.
  • Roadmap Planning: Collaborate with product and engineering to maintain timelines and project roadmaps.
  • Resource Allocation: Oversee budget, staffing, and partnerships to support program objectives.
  • Technical Expertise: Participate in technical discussions to align projects with innovation and feasibility goals.
  • Process Improvement: Implement best practices for program management specific to XR.
  • Quality Assurance: Work with QA to define test plans, conduct thorough testing, and address issues pre-launch.

Requirements:

  • BS, MS, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
  • 7+ years of experience in technical program management, with 3+ years in the XR/AR/VR/MR industry.
  • Proven experience leading cross-functional teams in complex environments.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts effectively.
  • Expertise in XR platforms, SDKs, and devices (e.g., HoloLens, Oculus, Magic Leap).
  • Experience in Agile methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Trello).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with AI, machine learning, or computer vision within the XR field.
  • Experience launching XR products to market.
  • Experience with globally distributed teams and multi-timezone project management.

Compensation:

Base salary ranges from $156,000 to $299,000 annually, dependent on location and experience, with additional eligibility for equity and benefits.
