Team Overview

The Monetization Product Design team shapes the future of revenue-generating products at Snapchat. This includes developing AR advertising formats, monetization tools for video creators, and products like Snapchat+. Designers collaborate closely with the CEO and cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions for brands, small businesses, and creators.

Role Overview

Snap Inc. is seeking a Senior Interface Designer for the Monetization Product Design team. This role involves driving end-to-end product design, shaping strategy, and creating impactful user experiences for monetization-related products.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop innovative features and pitch concepts directly to the CEO.
• Lead product design, including visual and interaction design, prototyping, and communication.
• Design intuitive, beautiful user experiences and flows.
• Identify and address the needs of Advertisers, Creators, and Snapchatters.
• Define the short- and long-term product roadmap.
• Provide and receive feedback on design and strategic decisions.
• Present design solutions to leadership, peers, and engineers.

• Expertise in visual and interaction design.
• Proficiency in prototyping interactive mobile experiences.
• Strategic thinking and ability to act as a Product Manager when needed.

Minimum Qualifications

• BS/BA degree or equivalent experience.
• Portfolio showcasing mobile design expertise.
• 5+ years of experience designing and shipping mobile applications.
• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Illustrator.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with web and advertising tools or mobile payments.
• Familiarity with Snapchat products.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary Range (Zone A: CA, WA, NYC): $168,000 - $252,000 annually.
• Additional compensation in the form of equity (RSUs).
