Senior Interaction Designer, AI Innovation and Research

As a Senior Interaction Designer at Google, you will collaborate with researchers across Alphabet to develop cutting-edge AI applications, partner with cross-functional teams to design and launch new experiences, and contribute to developing intuitive user interfaces.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 6 years of experience in product design or UX.
• Experience designing across multiple platforms and collaborating with technical and design teams.
• Portfolio or website showcasing your design work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Design, HCI, or related field.
• 8 years of experience in product design or UX, with 2 years leading design projects.
• Experience in consumer electronics or mobile devices.
• Familiarity with conversational design and technical constraints for platforms like Android and iOS.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to design applications of Large Language Models (LLMs).
• Advocate for UX strategy and consistent design language across Google.
• Foster a user-centric design culture across the organization.
• Deliver high-quality design solutions within organizational and technical constraints.

Compensation

• Base Salary Range: $142,000 - $211,000 (plus bonus, equity, and benefits).
