Senior Creative Technologist

Instrument is a remote-first digital product and brand experience agency seeking a Senior Creative Technologist to lead the implementation of groundbreaking digital experiences. This role blends creative vision with technical execution, driving innovation and pushing the boundaries of digital technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead ideation and exploration of emerging technologies for innovative digital experiences
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative Directors, Designers, and Developers
• Prototype and build proof of concepts and features for digital products and services
• Stay current on industry trends and share insights with the broader team
• Foster a culture of innovation and guide team members in creative thinking
• Ensure technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and communicate constraints to creative teams
• Mentor and support team members in creativity, innovation, and continuous learning

Requirements

• 8+ years of experience in creating digital experiences using both technology and design (UX or visual)
• Strong understanding of UX, UI, and motion design principles
• Experience in front-end web or app development (Javascript, iOS, Android) or creative coding frameworks (Processing, openFrameworks)
• Experience quickly learning new programming languages and platforms and applying them to digital experiences

Pay Range

• $85,000 - $110,000 (Base for US Region 3; cost of living adjustments for other regions)
