Research Lead, VR/AR and AI Partnerships

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in Meta's Reality Labs partner ecosystem.
• Analyze competitors' strategies, strengths, and weaknesses to inform partnership decisions and identify areas for differentiation
• Develop and implement market intelligence-driven partnership strategies that drive growth and revenue for Reality Labs products.
• Provide actionable insights and recommendations to cross-functional teams, including product, marketing, and sales, to inform business decisions.
• Analyze large datasets to identify patterns, trends, and correlations that inform market intelligence insights.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, marketing, and sales teams, to ensure alignment on market intelligence insights and recommendations.
• Engage with external partners, including industry experts, analysts, and researchers, to stay informed on market trends and developments.
• Inform the development of partnerships strategies for new markets, products, and/or verticals as a trusted advisor to Reality Labs Partnerships leadership

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree.
• 7+ years of experience in sell-side equity research, investment banking, competitive intelligence, or market research in the technology or consumer electronics space.
• Experience leading market assessments and/or relevant research/due diligence with a focus on new and emerging technologies in the AR/VR and/or GenAI space.
• Proven analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience analyzing complex data sets and drawing meaningful conclusions.
• Proven communication and presentation skills with experience effectively communicating insights and recommendations to executives and cross-functional teams.
• Proven experience in understanding market trends, developing strategic recommendations, and overall business acumen
• Proven leadership and influencing skills, with experience leading/influencing stakeholders at all levels of an organization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical or product knowledge in AR/VR and/or GenAI.
• Master's degree in Business Administration.
• Experience at a leading sell-side equity research firm, investment bank, private equity, consulting or technology firm.
• Experience supporting product leadership in successfully launching new products and/or businesses.
