About

The Meta Reality Labs Product Marketing team is seeking a Product Marketing Manager who is passionate about building and marketing innovative social immersive products and experiences that inspire meaningful human connection, creation and self expression. This position will join a team responsible for product marketing for the virtual economy within the metaverse, across both mobile and VR experiences. We exist to drive the flywheel across our business by empowering creators to build engaging experience and content; great content will drive user engagement and retention leading to platform growth and ultimately more earnings to motivate creators to continue to build. This role is embedded within the Horizon Experiences product team which builds both engaging consumer experiences as well as empowers creators and developers with the tools to build and scale their own businesses on Horizon. Our ideal candidate is analytical and creative, and can transition between tactical project work as well as strategic influence with product leaders. This product marketing team is focused on the inbound phase of product marketing and the strategy that informs outbound marketing with internal partners.

Responsibilities

  • Shape product roadmaps through market & customer research, competitive analyses, audience segmentation & sizing, and dives into audience needs.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute product launch and GTM efforts. Drive target audience definition, value proposition & messaging development, content creation, and GTM channel activation across audiences to achieve awareness, adoption, and retention goals.
  • Lead inbound and GTMs for new priority consumer experiences across the digital goods funnel from discovery to acquisition to access across the metaverse.
  • Bring first- and third-party content launch plans to life through key merchandising and monetization opportunities during marketing moments, seasonal events and more scalably through new live ops systems and processes.
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the VR and mobile ecosystem for users and communicate market trends within the organization

Minimum Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience in product marketing, product strategy, analytical roles or related experience
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally and building consensus among multiple stakeholders (e.g., product managers, engineers, data science, legal, partnerships, user experience research) in a high-growth, fast moving environment
  • Experience influencing product roadmaps through relevant research and analysis
  • Experience launching products: creating detailed go-to-market plans including audience definition, positioning statements, clearly defined value propositions and collaborating with cross-functional partners (Marketing, Legal, Communications, etc.) to identify & execute marketing channels/activations

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • MBA degree
  • Experience with building and launching products (experiences and tooling) for digital marketplaces and/or virtual gaming economies
  • Experience working cross-functionally on ambiguous 0→1 projects within a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Balance of creative and analytical thinking, putting forth best-in-class execution within a measurable and data-driven framework
  • Interest for and understanding of virtual economies within gaming
