Role Overview

As a Product Designer for XR, you’ll design user interfaces and interactions for AR, VR, and MR applications within the Windows ecosystem, helping integrate Windows into the Mixed Reality space. This is a unique opportunity to impact XR technology development with one of the few companies leading in this field.

Key Responsibilities

• Define XR Vision: Collaborate with teams to define and execute the product vision for XR within Windows.
• Design Immersive Interfaces: Create intuitive UIs for AR, VR, and MR platforms.
• Prototyping and Wireframing: Develop wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs to communicate ideas and flows.
• Collaborate with Developers: Work with developers to ensure design accuracy and efficiency.
• Contribute to Design Systems: Aid in the development of design systems for consistency across XR products.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in product design, specifically within XR (AR, VR, MR).
• Tools: Proficient in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator).
• Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing XR design work.

Preferred Qualifications

• Game Engines: Experience with Unity and C# is a plus.
• Prototyping Tools: Familiarity with tools like ShapesXR or Bezi.
• Skills: Strong communication and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Salary Range

• Location-Based Salary: Washington state range of $95,000 - $110,000 annually, based on qualifications.
