Product Designer, ROS

About the Role

As a Product Designer on ROS (Roblox Operating System), you'll accelerate the internal tools and systems that scale Roblox. ROS includes applications that optimize People Operations, Talent Acquisition, Budgeting, and more. This role involves developing user-centric experiences, creating a cohesive visual design language, and ensuring engagement with the internal workforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Audit, strategize, and design for the in-progress ROS platform.
• Collaborate with PMs and engineers to understand user challenges and requirements.
• Build a unified visual design language for ROS tools.
• Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability tests) to inform and validate design decisions.
• Create journey maps, system maps, wireframes, prototypes, and design specs.
• Establish scalable UX frameworks and interaction patterns for consistency across tools.

Qualifications

• Experience: 4+ years in product design, UX, information architecture, or related fields.
• Skills:
  • Expertise in consumer products with knowledge of UX best practices for internal platforms.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing functionality, usability, and flow across user experiences.
  • Ability to lead design processes, advocate for users, and influence stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in service design blueprints and reusable design components.
• Soft Skills: Analytical, creative, and excellent at collaboration and communication.

Salary and Benefits

• Annual Salary Range: $170,070—$206,370 USD (dependent on experience and location).

Work Schedule: Roles at San Mateo HQ are in-office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, with flexible options on Monday and Friday.
