Role Summary

The Machine Learning Advocate Engineer for Computer Vision will play a pivotal role in promoting the adoption of Hugging Face's Hub platform and Open Source technologies. This position focuses on creating and fostering developer communities, enhancing the developer experience, and contributing to technical projects in collaboration with internal teams. The role is deeply technical, involving coding, content creation, and advocacy.

Responsibilities

• Build integrations with open-source libraries in the computer vision (CV) space.
• Create and distribute high-quality content, including demos and blog posts.
• Organize and co-lead events focused on state-of-the-art CV model development.
• Collaborate with the Open Source, Science, and Product teams to drive innovation.
• Develop tools to improve developer experience and community engagement.
• Act as a technical representative for Hugging Face within the CV ecosystem.

About You

• Passion for Machine Learning, with a focus on Computer Vision.
• Strong engineering skills and the ability to engage with technical communities.
• Proficiency in creating technical content, such as workshops, blog posts, and demos.
• Experience in Open Source development and community engagement is a bonus.
• Proficiency in other human languages or connections to local ecosystems is a plus.
• A generalist mindset, comfortable working on diverse tasks, from coding to communication.
