Lead Concept Artist VR

We create next-generation Virtual Reality content that represents a new form of entertainment. We bridge the gap between video games and movies, providing a level of immersion, emotional engagement, and realism never before seen.

Job Description:

• Designing concept art of characters, locations, and objects for our VR titles
• Designing storyboards for our VR titles
• Working closely with the CCO and the development team(s)
• Leading the concept artist team

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in game development
• Experience with Photoshop, Painter, etc.
• A basic understanding of using 3DS Max and/or Maya
• An exceptional understanding of human and animal anatomy and a keen eye towards form, shape, structure, and silhouette in illustration and design
• The ability to carry an idea from the conceptual phase to the finished illustration and translate these ideas to real-time game environments
• Superior eye for light, value, composition, color, staging, and detail in environmental design
• Understanding the unique approach required for creating VR experiences
• Self-motivation and good communication skills
• Creativity and ability to work as part of a team
• A passion for virtual reality
• Art education
• Professional experience in a similar position
• Proficiency in the English language
• Strong team player and leader by example
