Junior 3D Artist

PixelPool combines fashion and technology to create photo realistic visuals for leading design studios and premium retail brands. We help their designers communicate and demonstrate their ideas with our visualizations from 3D stills and animations to interactive 3D VR environments and applications.

PixelPool is headquartered in the Hague, the Netherlands and has offices in the United States and Bulgaria.

We are looking for a talented Junior 3D Artist to join our team in Portland, Oregon, USA. Specifically this role is to help our team of Senior Artists on projects and learning all the aspects of our visualization offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Visualize retail design concepts and environments in a global team setting
• Ability to create and optimize geometry for real-time
• Collaborate with artists and project stakeholders
• Interpret client direction while adhering to project deadlines and quality standards
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices

Job requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, 3D, or related field
• 0-2 years of experience working with 3ds Max, V-Ray, Unreal Engine, Adobe Suite, and Davinci Resolve
• Proficiency in all basic aspects of 3D: modeling, texturing and UV unwrapping, lighting and rendering will be considered a strong advantage.
• Demonstrated knowledge of SketchUp and Encape is a plus
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple milestones and projects efficiently
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, creative environment
• Great communication and active listening skills
• Ability to identify and solve issues creatively and technically
• Portfolio showcasing topology, texturing, look development, environments, and props
• Eagerness to work hard and help wherever is needed
• Passion for working with top apparel and retail brands
• Located in the Portland Metro area
