This is a full-time internship position for our Summer Rotation, from June 2, 2025 through August 22, 2025 in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. This Intern will support the US information & Communication team to create Test and Quality management solutions for I&C-systems and perform validation & testing. This will include projected mode systems, augmented reality video, entertainment-features, navigation and connectivity. They will work within a team in a highly complex environment, gaining a deep understanding of the information and communication systems in modern vehicles as well as how to properly test and document their maturity.
WHAT AWAITS YOU:
- Support local Test- & Problem Management with tracking progress during active test campaigns.
- Participate in test campaigns and in validation test drives and helping in setting up the HW/SW in preparation.
- Develop smart solutions to further improve efficiency in daily tasks for the team.
- Participate in testing activities for upcoming launches in the US market, learning about Quality Management and general test procedures and documentation.
The intern will be part of the team, working to ensure high quality for all BMW products.
WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor or master's degree program at an accredited college or university
- Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major)
- Have completed at least 60 college credits or be at least a rising Junior
- Field of study: Engineering or similar with concentration in electrical or automotive
- Must attach a copy of college unofficial transcript
- Ability to work full-time (36.25 hours/week)
- Prior BMW Group experience (applicable to international J1 students only)

The hourly rate for Undergraduate students is $29.90 The hourly rate for Graduate students is $36.80 The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
