PICO - Innovation Product Manager

The PICO OS Interaction and Sense Product Team at ByteDance seeks an innovative Product Manager to lead groundbreaking advancements in XR human-computer interaction (HCI). This role focuses on next-generation technologies, including voice commands, gesture control, full-body tracking, and novel input methods.

Responsibilities

• Lead innovative research and exploration in XR HCI, including prototyping and validation.
• Conduct user research to enhance the user experience of HCI products.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to transform HCI innovations into market-ready products.
• Stay ahead of advancements in HCI technologies and market trends to inform strategy.
• Develop white papers, research reports, and presentations for stakeholders.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

• Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Human-Computer Interaction, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of product management experience in emerging technologies or XR products.
• Expertise in HCI technologies like natural language processing, computer vision, or brain-computer interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of XR technologies (AR, VR, MR).
• Proven ability to take products from concept to market.
• Strong prototyping skills and familiarity with agile development methodologies.
• Outstanding communication and leadership skills.

Preferred Skills

• Published research or patents in HCI.
• Experience with AI and machine learning technologies for HCI.
• Knowledge of human factors and ergonomics in XR environments.

Compensation and Benefits

• Base Salary: $165,000 - $414,000 annually (may vary based on qualifications, experience, and location).
