Graphic Designer

Nike Virtual Studios is Nike’s home for gaming, where we energize gaming culture for the next generation of Nike fans through our web and social platforms — .SWOOSH. We are looking for a freelance Graphic Designer to craft brand-defining visual design content that enables .SWOOSH to authentically connect and communicate with our gamer community.

In this role, you will creatively use your graphic design, motion, editing, and storytelling expertise to create visually compelling graphics and content for our social media channels, web platform, live event experiences, and executive presentations. You will work under the direction of the Nike Virtual Studios Design team and will collaborate with our Brand, Content, and Partnership teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide graphic design support for all social media content needs.
• Participate in the ideation and execution of creative design concepts for our social media channels to help tell compelling stories to our gamer community.
• Build upon the campaign visual centers to extend our design language for specific content franchises, events, and product launches.
• Work collaboratively with Designers, Writers, Content Strategists and Managers, Communications, and our Executive Leadership team.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong graphic design, editing, motion, and animation skills.
• Exceptional creativity in concept development, storytelling, and problem-solving.
• Exceptional attention to detail with a strong eye for type, color, motion, and layouts.
• Mastery of Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Figma, and Keynote.
• Strong understanding and expertise of social media layouts and spec requirements.
• Web design and editorial experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proactive and adaptable to a fast-paced team without compromising on quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
