Design Technologist

Amazon Visual Innovation Services seeks a Design Technologist to join their fast-paced Studio in Hoxton. This role focuses on photography, videography, graphic design, 3D, and workflow automation to innovate and elevate Amazon's visual standards for e-commerce.

Key Responsibilities:

• Write and manage scripted workflows using Python, JavaScript, AppleScript, or Powershell.
• Automate client-side workflows with AWS S3 and maintain metadata standards.
• Manage enterprise-level Digital Asset Management (DAM) systems.
• Utilize Capture One, Photoshop, Bridge, Premiere Pro, OBS, and other tools in Windows and Mac environments.
• Oversee color profile management policies and manage color shifts across peripheral devices.
• Handle multiple projects under tight deadlines while mastering proprietary internal tools.
• Communicate effectively and maintain high levels of confidentiality.

Basic Qualifications:

• Experience as a front-end technologist, engineer, or UX prototyper.
• Knowledge and hands-on experience with web, mobile web, or mobile app front-end development.
• A portfolio showcasing coding samples and UI design for complex workflows.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Proficiency in JavaScript/NodeJS, HTML/CSS, and Responsive/Adaptive Design.
• Knowledge of Python, JavaScript, and source control systems (Git).
