AR/VR Development Intern

The basic requirement for an internship at Schaeffler is proof of enrollment at the time of the internship. This position is available immediately for a period of 6 months.

Your Tasks

• Support in the conception and implementation of pilot projects for augmented and virtual reality environments.
• Designing new applications through innovative and creative ideas.
• Assistance in the development, further development, and testing of 3D scenarios.
• Making an active contribution to operational solutions in the industrial environment.
• Combining new software solutions with state-of-the-art hardware devices.

Your Profile

• Studies in media informatics, business informatics, computer science, or a comparable course of study.
• First experience in using game engines such as Unity or Unreal is desirable.
• Knowledge in the field of computer visualization.
• Knowledge of object-oriented programming in languages such as C++ and C# is an advantage.
• Enthusiasm for new technologies such as the HTC VIVE and the Microsoft HoloLens2.
• Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
• Analytical expertise, initiative, and independence.
• Teamwork and communication skills.
