Apple Vision Pro Developer

Groove Jones is a leader in creative technology, building immersive experiences that redefine digital interaction. We're seeking an Apple Vision Pro Developer for a contract role focused on pioneering applications for cutting-edge mixed-reality projects.

As an Apple Vision Pro Developer, you'll create and optimize spatial applications using the latest visionOS tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver intuitive, high-performance experiences tailored to Apple's advanced hardware.

### Responsibilities
- Design and develop immersive apps using Apple's visionOS SDK and 3D frameworks
- Build environmental mapping systems leveraging LiDAR and stereoscopic camera data
- Implement gesture-based UIs for eye and hand interactions
- Optimize 3D content for high-resolution displays and smooth performance
- Integrate shared experience features using ARKit's spatial tools
- Conduct performance tuning to ensure seamless user interactions
- Collaborate with UX/UI designers to refine immersive interfaces

### Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 2+ years of visionOS development experience (shipped App Store apps preferred)
- Proficiency in Swift and Apple's RealityKit/ARKit frameworks
- Experience with 3D content pipelines (Reality Composer Pro or similar tools)
- Knowledge of multithreaded programming and performance optimization
- Strong grasp of spatial design principles for mixed reality
- Self-driven with excellent remote collaboration skills

### Preferred Skills
- Unity development experience for 3D environments
- Background in particle effects or dynamic 3D animations
- Familiarity with machine learning integration for computer vision
- Understanding of display calibration techniques
