AI Experience Architect

Sawhorse Productions, an award-winning creative studio based in Los Angeles, is seeking an AI Experience Architect to lead the design, development, and deployment of AI-driven interactive experiences. This role combines technical AI and machine learning expertise with creative storytelling and user journey design to build captivating, personalized digital engagements. The position is fully remote with core working hours aligned to PST, and may transition from freelance to full-time.

Responsibilities

• Conceptualization and Execution: Lead creation and technical implementation of AI-powered experiences from ideation to deployment.
• Storytelling and User Journey Design: Architect engaging, user-centric experiences that integrate storytelling, content generation, and AI, aligning with brand goals.
• Machine Learning Model Design: Develop and optimize adaptable machine learning models and algorithms to drive interactive AI experiences.
• Brand Alignment: Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all experiences are on-brand, relevant, and aligned with client vision.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Work with creative, engineering, and marketing teams to bring intelligent applications to life.
• User Feedback & Refinement: Analyze data and user feedback to refine and enhance AI applications over time.

Requirements

• Proven experience in AI-driven interactive experiences with a focus on user engagement
• Expertise in machine learning, natural language processing (NLP), and real-time interaction
• Background in interactive storytelling and UX design
• Strong communication skills for creative and technical collaboration
• Project management experience, guiding cross-functional teams from concept to execution

• Experience with gaming or interactive media
• Familiarity with generative AI, AR/VR integrations, and recommendation engines
• Knowledge of UX/UI principles and user behavior analysis
